Quote Templates can help establish consistency with how your users are presenting Customer Quotes. These can also be beneficial to for saving quick settings for the different types of quotes you may need to send out. Everything you save to include such as the Quote Header, Quote Footer, Cover Page Title, Sign Off Note and Settings can be saved for future uses.

(Located in the Quote Settings window in the lower leftupper right-hand corner when you double click on a quote in the Quotes tab of the BOM module)

  1. Create a New Quote Template

You can select "My Default" if you want it to only default for yourself on all quotes created

You can select "Public" for other users to have access to the saved template

This is the Delete button to permanently remove the template chosen

This button will save the quote template for the entire organization

  1. You do not need to select 2 or 3 to use this button

  2. You must have the rights to "Save Toolbar Layouts as Default Toolbar Layouts"

The disc by itself is to save a template for just yourself

  1. You only need to use 5 or 6

  2. 6 overrides 2, 3 & 5
