Custom drop down lists are created in e-manage ONE, configured in the e-manage ONE Administrator (by corporate division), and used in Editable Fields only.

To create a new Custom Drop Down List click on the File menu of the main e-manage window and click on the Create Custom Drop Down List menu item.

...

Supply a name for the custom drop down list by typing it into the Drop Down Name text box in the Add Custom Drop Down List window and click the Save button.

...

Now that the Custom Drop Down List has been created, you can go to the e-manage ONE Administrator and configure the drop down list in the Corporate Division Configuration section. Open the e-manageONE Administrator Program by going to the Main Tool Menu in the main e-manage ONE Window and clicking on the "e-manageONE Administrator" menu item.

...

Once in the administrator, click the Corporate Division Configuration menu item from the Tools menu on the top toolbar.

...

Highlight the division you want to start with (you may only have one Corporate Division to choose from) and then click on the Drop Down List Setup tab and scroll down in the Drop Down List grid to the new custom list name you created and click it.

...

When you create new items in the drop down list setup tab the default is to add the item to all corporate divisions. So if you have more than one corporate division and DO NOT want the item you are adding to be added for all corporate divisions, highlight the divisions you do not want to add to and click the < button.

Click the Save button (or pressing ENTER on your keyboard will save the item and put you back in new mode to type a new item)

Repeat for all items you want to add and if you want different items for different divisions, you should click on the corporate division in the top grid when you are ready to add items to another division.

NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO CLICK TO ANOTHER DROP DOWN LIST (FROM THE DROP DOWN LIST GRID), THEN BACK AFTER CHANGING DIVISIONS TO REFRESH.
