The Bulk e-mail functionality of e-manage allows you to send templated (using the e-manage Builders) or free form e-mails to multiple users. You can drag and drop contacts or contact groups into the recipients or you can import e-mail addresses (when you do not have contact names) from Microsoft Excel. Attach documents from e-manage or from your hard drive with easy to use drag and drop attachments. Choose to send each recipient an individual e-mail or build the TO list all in one e-mail with the click of a checkbox.

To begin, click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the e-manage 7 main window and then choose "Bulk e-mail".

...

In the Send Bulk e-mail Window:

Type in a Subject (or click the Builder button to use a subject that has been pre-saved).

...

Type in an e-mail Body (or copy and paste from an html source).

...

Drag and drop contacts from  Search e-manage, Recent Records, Favorites, Leads or any other grid that contains contact information, or you can drag and drop Contact Groups from the Groups pop-out panel on the right side of the e-manage 7 main window.

...

You can also import e-mail addresses from Microsoft Excel by clicking the Import Addresses Only - From Excel.

...

Click the Browse button in the filename textbox.

Choose a Sheet and then the column header that contains the e-mail address.

Click the Import button.

Note: if you use excel to import e-mail addresses, you will not be able to create a follow-up for the e-mail because there is no corresponding e-manage 7 contact to apply the follow-up to.

Add any documents you want to send in the e-mail by dragging and dropping from any documents grid in e-manage 7 or from your computer or network.

To send separate e-mails (one per recipient) check the box "Send Individual e-mails". To send one e-mail to all recipients, uncheck the box.

e-manage 7 Bulk e-mail uses Microsoft Outlook to send the e-mails so you must have Microsoft Outlook Integration turned on
