e-manageONE lets you customize your grid layouts using every tool available to us from the control vendor (Infragistics) without having to write a single line of code.
We expose the advanced functionality available through the Grid Functions Toolbar available when you click the round red button on the lower right of the grid you are working with. The toolbar will appear at the bottom where the red button will now turn green. Click the green button to hide the toolbar when you are done.
Keep in mind you will need to save your grid layout after making any changes you want to see in the future (See Saving Grid Layouts for additional information).
Below are some of the Grid Functions available to you:
Load a Grid Layout File
This is used to import a grid layout from another e-manageONE user. When someone sends you a layout file, you can click on the Load a Layout File and browse for the file the other user sent you.
...
Save a Grid Layout File
This saves a layout to send to another e-manageONE user (perhaps at another company) that does not have access to your e-manage database so they can see and use your grid layout. Click the menu item and then browse to a place you can find the file and give it a name. You can then proceed to e-mail the file to another e-manageONE user so they can then Load & Save.

Always Show the Grid Toolbar for this Grid
There are some grids that you constantly change the layout for, and for these grids it makes sense to have the Grid Functions Toolbar showing by default instead of having to click the red button to open it. To have the toolbar show up by default, click the Always Show the Grid Toolbar for this Grid. This only affects the current grid. This is a per user, per grid setting.

Set Export Rights
You don't want your users to be able to take your data and walk, so letting users export to Microsoft Excel, Copy and Paste, or Print is a setting per grid, per user. To allow users to export data from a grid, click the Set Export Rights menu item and then check the boxes next to the users you want to allow the exporting of data. The settings will not take effect until the window containing the grid is reloaded, including if you are setting the rights for yourself. You can also allow or deny export rights by User Profile using the drop down menu located in the lower section of the pop out panel.

Configure Editable Fields
Users with the appropriate rights can make any field in the grid editable with a few simple clicks. Depending on how involved you are in the setup of the database, you may need to call for support to get the database table names to setup editable fields. For additional detail see Configuring Editable Fields.

...

Inter-Band Spacing - This is the amount of space (In Pixels) that will be between hierarchical grids such as the BOM Grid between Options, Phases, and BOM levels.
...
Select All Rows
Selects all the visible rows in the grid for performing functions using the right click (context) menu. If you have a filter applied, the filtered out rows will not be included.
...
Print / Copy / Export
When you have been granted the ability to export data from grids, this pop-out menu will be enabled and allows you to Print to the printer, export to Microsoft Excel or place the grid in copy and paste mode so you can highlight rows and paste them in any windows compliant application.

View Results as SQL
This item shows you the query that was run against the database to return the results of the grid. We encourage our customers to know as much about the e-manage ONE database as is practical in order to build their own custom queries at will using the Analysis > Build / Use Custom Query window. By seeing what queries are run to return the results from built in grids, users can more easily formulate their own data grids.
