A serviceable Item is an item that you want to make available to service and /or create a service agreement for. If you have a product that would require ongoing maintenance and service that you can create a Serviceable Item to track information such as warranty, the model, service tickets and so on.

In the image below you can see the information needed when creating a Serviceable Item. The fields with the "*" sign are required.

You can create a Serviceable Item from a Company record or from an existing Project / Job record. It is recommended to create it from an existing Project / Job record so it is connected and easier to search should you need to.

Once a Serviceable Item is created you can attach documents, add notes, create Help Desk Incdients, Service Tickets and more.

If you provide your customers Service Agreements which include Preventative Maintenance Call you can create proposals and Service Contracts for Serviceable Item(s) See the Service Agreements section here.
