Let's begin the process of opening a base report, making modifications, and then saving it back into e-manage. Follow these clear steps to achieve your desired results:

Step 1: Accessing the Reports Directory in e-manage

  • Launch e-manage and head to the Reports Directory.

  • To do this, navigate to File → Open e-manage File Location → Reports Directory.

Step 2: Preparing for Modifications in Telerik

  • Within Telerik, prioritize best practices by initiating changes with a proper Save As procedure.

  • Start by navigating to File > Save As.

  • Rename the file (It is recommended to include your company name at the beginning of the existing report name).

  • It is imperative you save the new report in the same folder the base (original) report is Saved.

  • Once named appropriately, select Save to preserve your changes.

Step 3: Implementing Your Modifications

  • With the groundwork laid, proceed to make the necessary adjustments to the report according to your requirements.

  • Once your changes are in place, ensure you Save the report again to secure your modifications.
