You can utilize this tool to add a new location for a company, whether it's a customer, vendor, or installation site. The Prospecting tool is intended to simplify and improve the accuracy of inputting new company locations into the e-manage database by utilizing information from Google.
On the left side toolbar, select New → Prospect to reveal the Prospecting pop-out panel.
Type in the name of the company you are looking for in the "Search For" field. Enter the city and/or state in the "Location" field and select "Get Results."
Find the result you are looking for and click the "New Company" button.
**If nothing shows up in the Prospecting Tool, you can go to New -> Company and proceed to Step 2 in the next section. **
If your customers have different Bill To and Install Location addresses, it is advisable to add them as separate company locations. Essentially, for every distinct address, a distinct company record should be created. In the following step, we will guide you on linking the two.
