The Prospecting Tool is designed to streamline the process of adding new locations—whether for customers, vendors, or installation sites—into your e-manage|ONE database. By integrating with Google search, it simplifies data entry while improving accuracy.

🚀 Accessing the Prospecting Tool

  1. From the left-side toolbar, click “New”

  2. Select “Prospect” to open the Prospecting pop-out panel

🔍 Searching for a Company

  1. In the “Search For” field, enter the company name

  2. In the “Location” field, enter the city and/or state (abbreviations are accepted)

  3. Click “Get Results” to initiate the search

🚫 When No Results Appear

If the Prospecting Tool returns no results or you prefer to enter the information manually:

  1. Go to “New” > “Company”

  2. Follow the manual entry process starting with Step 2 in the next section

🧩 Managing Bill To vs. Install Locations

If your customer has separate Bill To and Install Location addresses, you must create separate company records for each unique address.
