Changing the Install/End User Address, Bill To Address or Ship To Address
It is sometimes necessary to update company addresses as you are discovering information from the customer. In e-manage, once you learn how to adjust addresses in one area of the program, you will understand how to do it throughout the system. The "Company Record Label" drop-down is available throughout the system to facilitate changes where and when required. See some examples below.
Change Install/End User Address in the Project Information Module
It is possible to make necessary changes directly in the Project Information by selecting the drop-down menu in the "Company Record Label" and typing the desired company name, as demonstrated below.
Please note that this modification will solely alter the INSTALL ADDRESS / END USER at the Project Information level. Thus, if the project has progressed further, such as to the Quote or Order stage, adjustments will need to be made at those levels as well. Again, the "Company Record Label" drop-down is available throughout the system to facilitate changes where and when required.
Change Company/Address at the Quote level
Navigate to the Bill of Materials and select the "View Quotes" tab. Then, double-click on your Quote to access the Quote Settings, and adjust the companies/addresses in the upper left corner accordingly.
Change Bill To Company / Address
If you intend to modify the Bill To address, it is recommended to start from the beginning (if the Bill To remains the same for each project for the chosen End User / Install Address). You may promptly open the company record from the Project window by selecting "View Company Record" on the top toolbar.
This will lead you to the screen below, where you may select the correct Default Bill To address from the drop-down menu if you have already entered the recipient's company information. If not, you must first add the new company to your system and proceed with these steps.
