Add a New Division

Steps to Add a New Division to Your Database

When adding a new division, it's not just about creating the division in the Division Setup window. There are several key steps to ensure everything is properly configured:

  1. New Division Created / Settings Configured (Division Setup Tab)

  2. Map Division to Classes (if applicable)

  3. Configure Accrued Liabilities (un-billed cost) Account (if applicable)

  4. Drop Down List Setup

  5. Drop Down List Sorting and Configurations

  6. MFG/Vendor Reference Codes Configured

  7. Chart of Accounts Imported to New Division

  8. Activate GL Accounts

  9. Product Types Mapped to GL Accounts

  10. Activate Users to New Division (Division Access Control)
