This tool can be used to add a new company location such as a customer, vendor, install location, etc. The "Prospecting" tool is designed to make the entering of new company locations into the e-manage database easier and more accurate by using data from Google!
Moving your curser over the Prospecting tab on the left side toolbar reveals the Prospecting pop out panel.
Type in the name of the company you are looking for in the "Search For" field. Enter in the city and/or state in the "Location" field and select "Get Results".
Find the result you are looking for and click the "New Company" button.
**There may be cases where nothing shows up in the Prospecting Tool. If this is the case you can go to Main Tool Menu > New Company and proceed to Step 2 in the next section. **
You should add both your customers Bill To address and your customers Install Location address as separate company locations if the addresses are different. In the next step we will walk through how to connect the two. Essentially for every different address you will have a separate company record.
