E-manage comes with a zip code look-up database for the United States and Canada, so when you enter a zip code and hit the TAB key - the city, state, county, and tax rate automatically populate.
If there are multiple cities for the zip code you typed in, a drop-down menu will appear for you to choose the city you want to associate with the company location.
If the city that comes up is not correct, you can add it to the zip code database by putting the correct city in (after entering the zip code) and tabbing out of the City Text Box. An Add Zip Code window will pop up and allow you to fill out the information that e-manage needs to save a new Zip Code.
**Note: If entering a Canada zip code be sure to put “Canada” in the country field. Also, please note you can always use “N/A” in any of the fields that are not applicable to the zip code such as “Area Code” or “County”.
Adding an International Zip Code
Enter the zip code in the Zip/City/State field and hit the TAB key to open the box shown below:
