Using this method you have the option to have one employee / department entering time into the calendar and another employee / department processing the time so the verification/audit takes place previous to pushing to Quickbooks for Payroll if you choose to use e-Manage to process Payroll. This method also ensures that time is being entered for ALL jobs being scheduled. 

  1. Open the Installation Calendar (View > Installation Calendar) and navigate to the date you wish to add time to and double click on the Implementation Item

  2. Adjust the Start time and End time on the left panel. This time will apply to ALL installers you had originally scheduled so choose a time that either applies to the entire team or the majority of the team. We will review how to make changes to individual installers in the next step. Once you've adjusted the time, select "Save Item".

After selecting "Save Item" it will direct you to your Internal Resources tab where you can now make adjustments (if necessary) to any Installers individually by double clicking on the Installer and adjusting in the "Installer Details" window. Continue to enter time for the remaining installation items or continue to Step #4 to process the time.

  3. Processing time MUST take place whether or not you are going to push to Quickbooks for payroll in order to see time applied to Job. Navigate to Human Resources >and choose one of the following menu items:

  2. Key in your Install Dates for which you are wanting to process and select Search

  2. You should now see all time entered for the dates previously keyed in populate in the upper portion of the screen. We suggest enlarging your screen while processing time so you can see a little more information. At this time you can make any adjustments necessary such as Start Time, Lunch, End Time, Pay Schedules, etc. You make these adjustments directly in the grid or use the bottom toolbar (which means you can do multiple lines at once). To use the bottom toolbar you must highlight the line on the upper portion of the screen (Use your CTRL key to grab multiple lines or SHIFT to grab everything in between).

  3. After you have made all necessary adjustments, highlight the line(s) and select "Create Time Sheets for Selected Rows". Once processed the line will disappear automatically from this window. You can now open the Quickbooks Integration Application and navigate to Payroll > Send Time Sheets if you choose to use e-manage|ONE to push Payroll.
