When you make changes to the grid, you must save the grid layout either for yourself (with or without being the default layout) or, if you have the appropriate application right, save the layout for your entire company. Grid Layouts are per grid. So every grid that you can see has its own layout structure to it. Only a few grids share a layout.

  1. Types of Grid Layouts:

    1. User-Specific Layouts: These layouts are tailored to individual users' preferences and override both Marketplace Software default layouts and companywide layouts. Users can save their own layouts and designate them as defaults.

    2. Companywide Layouts: Companywide layouts apply to all users within the organization unless they have set their own default layout. These layouts override Marketplace Software default grid layouts and are managed by administrators.

  2. Hierarchy of Layouts:

    Grid layouts follow a hierarchical loading order:

    • Marketplace Software Default Layouts: These are the original layouts provided by Marketplace Software and serve as the default when no companywide or user default layouts are created. e-manage|ONE updates may prompt administrators to import these default grid layouts.

    • Companywide
