Phases are : Organizing Your Project
In the e-manage|ONE system, Phases serve as an essential level of organization and provide structure to your project estimates. Think of Phases as tags, sections, summaries, or sub-totals within your project hierarchy.
Understanding Phases
Phases represent the second level of this the data structure and contain BOMs which is where parts are attached. Each Phase level has a + to click on to see the house Bill of Materials (BOMs), where you attach parts. Each Phase level can be expanded by clicking on the "+" sign to reveal its "child" records. You can tell which level you are working with by distinguish between these levels through the "name" column in each, for example, the option level has : Options have "Option Name", the phase level has ," Phases have "Phase Name," and the BOM level has BOMs have "BOM Name.".
Each Option can have include an unlimited number of phases that of Phases, each of which can be named and given formatted text descriptions.
Effecting Changes Across Phases
When you change modify the customer discount, margin, markup, or sale price in within a phase Phase row of in the grid, it will affect has a cascading effect on every Adjustable item (not matter what BOM) attached to it, adjusting each to the value you supply. Editable Cells in Phase Rows
While certain cells within the Phase Rows of the Option Grid. Phase Name- This cell sets : Sets the name of the Phase on a quote. When you create a new phase, the name is automatically set to "Default Phase" and if you do not change it from this, your quote will not show the phase name section. New Margin, New Markup, and New Customer Discount - : Depending on your pricing type, the phase Phase level will allow allows you to change only the appropriate cell. Lump Sum Sale and Lump Sum Sale + Tax will allow you enable adjustments to change the New Margin, while Discount From List will allow you allows changes to change the New Discount, and Markup will allow you permits modifications to change the New Markup column.

Phase QTY and Phase UOM - Used to setup : Used for setting up a hybrid phase. Set this to anything but blank and choose a Phase UOM to roll up the items associated with the phase into one line with the phase name being Phase to hide multiple line items on the Customer Quote but still follow internal processes and best practices of itemizing for accounting purposes. Configure these fields to consolidate Phase-associated items into a single line with the Phase name as the part number and the phase Phase description being as the Description, along with one a summed-up price. Start Date - The : Indicates the anticipated start date of the phasePhase.
Installers Per Day - How many installers will be necessary per day to perform the installation of this phase
Installation Days - The number of days anticipated to perform the installation of this phase.

The Right-Click Context Menu for Phases
Right-clicking on a Phase reveals additional functionality beyond the grid. To make changes across multiple selected Phases, ensure they are highlighted in the grid before right-clicking. Here's what each menu element does:

New Option - : Creates a new option Option along with a new phase Phase and a new BOM, with the BOM selected so you can immediately add new parts.
New Phase - Creates : Generates a new phase Phase under the option that the currently selected phase is a part of, and Phase's Option, along with a new BOM with the BOM selected so you can immediately , allowing you to add new parts promptly.
New BOM - : Creates a New new BOM for the currently selected phase and Phase, along with a new BOM with the BOM selected so you can immediately add new selection for adding parts.
Copy- : Copies the currently selected phasePhase(s) to paste for pasting into another optionOption, the same option Option, or an option Option in another project's BOM window.
Paste - : Pastes any copied phases Phases from the windows clipboard to into the currently selected phasePhase's optionOption.
Delete Selected - : Permanently deletes the selected phasePhase(s) and any BOM's associated BOMs that are children of the selected phasePhase(s).
Add / Modify Phase Picture - : Adds, changes, or clears removes the picture associated with the currently selected phasePhase. The Add / Modify Phase Picture window will pop-up where you can browse to a picture that represents the current phase and click apply, or click the clear button to remove a picture.

Add from Kit - : Adds a pre-made kit to the phasePhase. Use Utilize the Starters, Adders, and Rows cells on the BOM that is created to update the QTY quantity of kit items. When you find the kit you want to addTo add a kit, drag and drop the folder with the kit name onto the phasePhase.
