The New "Create Serviceable Item" action menu item creates allows you to create a serviceable item (, which represents an item that you install and then offer a service agreement on, or just want to store the information about an item you installed for service ticket purposes) for has been installed and may be covered by a service agreement. The "Units" text box represents the quantity used for calculating the unit price for service agreements. We recommend that you create your creating serviceable items and put associating them on a with service agreement agreements upon completion of completing the installation of the each item. If you offer a one-year of warranty (or your if the manufacturer does) then , you can make set the Agreement Start Date as the installation date and choose a length for 1 year so you can charge back to your manufacture of one year. This allows you to charge the manufacturer the entire cost of servicing the item.
