e-manage|ONE conveniently imports symbols and pictures of catalog items from the Spec Catalog, storing these images in the e-manage|ONE Master Parts Database. To achieve the best results and adhere to recommended practices, it's advisable to configure your Spec defaults as follows:
Ensure that images are set to render rather than appearing as wireframes, as depicted below.
If you encounter a situation where the picture is not visible within the e-manage|ONE BOM Items Grid, please follow these steps:
Verify that you have enabled the "Show pictures in the BOM Items Grid" option. You can find this setting in the Tools Menu → Configure → User Settings.
You may need to update your grid layout in the Bill of Materials module to display the picture column in the grid. Simply select the field chooser → Drag and Drop “Picture” in the grid → Right click on “Picture” → Data Type / Formatting → Display Style → Select Image. Don’t forget to Save your Grid Layout!
