Once a customer order / invoice has been completely paid in full, this would be the standard time to "Complete" the order. This typically allows ample time for all costs to be applied to the job so you can run your "Completing Customer Orders is a crucial step in your business process, enabling accurate profit reporting and project management. Step 1: Check Outstanding Receivables

  1. Open the "Customer Invoices" module you can see to view the payment you just applied reflecting $0.00 Outstanding Receivables on status of your orders or invoices.

  2. After receiving full payment, you will notice that the Outstanding Receivables for the selected order shows $0.00.

    Now select the check box under

Step 2: Mark the Order as "Completed"

  1. Locate the "Completed" column (we in the "Customer Invoices" module.

  2. We recommend placing that this column up front as for easy access and a visual reminder to be completing orders) and select complete orders.

  3. Select the check box under the "Completed" column for the order you wish to complete.

  4. Press "Tab" or "Enter" on your keyboard to confirm your selection.

    You can now go to Analysis > Print Reports >

Step 3: Generate the Profit Report (Orders Completed)

  1. Go to the "Analysis" menu and choose "Print Reports."

  2. Select "Profit Report (Orders Completed) > Select Date Range > Run Report" from the options.

  3. Set your preferred date range for the report.

  4. Click "Run Report" to generate the Profit Report based on customer payment dates.

  1. Updating Completion Dates: To modify the completion date, you can adjust the "Completed On" column in the "Customer Invoices"

you must select

to include the day previous (Example: To include completion date of 5/19 I would enter
  1. the desired completion date to ensure accurate reporting (e.g., To include orders completed on 5/19, set the date range as 5/01/2019 through 5/20/2019).
