Once a customer order / invoice has been completely paid in full, this would be the standard time to "Complete" the order. This typically allows ample time for all costs to be applied to the job so you can run your "Profit Report (Orders Completed)" based off your customer payment dates. To complete your order(s) follow the instructions below.

  1. Within the "Customer Invoices" module you can see the payment you just applied reflecting $0.00 Outstanding Receivables on the selected order.

  2. Now select the check box under the "Completed" column (we recommend placing that column up front as a reminder to be completing orders) and select "Tab" or "Enter" on your keyboard.

  3. You can now go to Analysis > Print Reports > Profit Report (Orders Completed) > Select Date Range > Run Report.

4. You may notice that the “Complete This Project” tab is greyed out. You will not be able to complete the project until all orders have been completed. See link below for Completing Projects.

NOTE: If the completion date needs to be updated there is a column named "Completed On" in the "Customer Invoices" Module that you can adjust if necessary. Also, please note when using the date range for the Profit Report you must select the day after to include the day previous (Example: To include completion date of 5/19 I would enter 5/01/2019 through 5/20/2019). Lastly, you will also see your Recently Completed Orders from the Today tab.

See here for additional details on Completing Projects (typically handled after sales commissions).
