Once a customer order / invoice has been completely paid in full, this would be the standard time to "Complete" the order. This typically allows ample time for all costs to be applied to the job so you can run your "Completing Customer Orders is a crucial step in your business process, enabling accurate profit reporting and project management. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to successfully complete an order and generate the Profit Report (Orders Completed)" based off your customer payment dates. Step 1: Check Outstanding Receivables

  1. Open the "Customer Invoices" module you can see the payment you just applied reflecting $0.00 Outstanding Receivables on the selected order.

    Now select the check box under the "Completed" column (we recommend placing that column up front as a reminder to be completing orders) and select to view the payment status of your orders or invoices.

  2. After receiving full payment, you will notice that the Outstanding Receivables for the selected order shows $0.00.

Step 2: Mark the Order as "Completed"

  1. Locate the "Completed" column in the "Customer Invoices" module.

    1. You also have access to do this in the Order Entry module which will mark it as complete in the Customer Invoice module.

  2. We recommend placing this column up front for easy access and a visual reminder to complete orders. We also reccomend to work this step into your Action Items workflow as a Pre-Quisite or Completion Task to ensure this step is always getting tackled.

  3. Select the check box under the "Completed" column for the order you wish to complete.

  4. Press "Tab" or "Enter" on your keyboard to confirm your selection.

    You can now go to Analysis > Print Reports >

Step 3: Generate the Profit Report (Orders Completed)

  1. Go to the "Analysis" menu and choose "Print Reports."

  2. Select "Profit Report (Orders Completed) > Select Date Range > Run Report.

4. You may notice that the “Complete This Project” tab is greyed out. You will not be able to complete the project until all orders have been completed. See link below for Completing Projects.

  1. Updating Completion Dates: To modify the completion date, you can adjust the "Completed On" column in the "Customer Invoices"

you must select

to include the day previous (Example: To include completion date of 5/19 I would enter
  1. the desired completion date to ensure accurate reporting (e.g., To include orders completed on 5/19, set the date range as 5/01/2019 through 5/20/2019).

Lastly, you will also see your Recently Completed Orders from the Today tab.See here for
  1. Completing Orders also affects other reports in e-manage|ONE such as the “Order Status” grid from the Today panel. It will fall off of that report when the Order has been marked complete.

  2. Recently Completed Orders: Check the "Today" tab to find your recently completed orders.

You must complete your Orders before you can complete the entire Project. See here for more information on Completing Projects.

You will get a warning pop up box when you Complete an Order to prompt you to also complete the Project. Typicall you want to say “No” and ensure the Sales Commissions have been scheduled before Completing the entire Project.
