๐Ÿ”ง Spec 5 Setup & Integration

Overview

This article walks you through setting up Spec Version 5 integration with e-manage|ONE. Proper configuration ensures seamless importing of SIF files and synchronized workflows between Spec and your e-manage|ONE environment.

๐Ÿ”— Prerequisites

  • Spec Version 5 must be installed on the same machine where e-manage|ONE is installed.

  • Project Notify must also be installed to enable proper file path routing.

โš™๏ธ Configuration Steps

  1. In e-manage|ONE, navigate to:
    Tools โ†’ Configure User Settings โ†’ Personal Settings tab

  2. In the Spec Integration section:

    • Set the Version to โ€œVersion 5โ€

    • Confirm that the Project Matrix File Path auto-populates

    • In the SIF Import to Use dropdown, select โ€œSIF Import! .sif Fileโ€

Note: If the Project Matrix Path does not auto-populate, double-check that both Project Notify and Spec 5 are installed.
