Before setting up a new user in e-manage|ONE, please ensure you have an available license or seat.

Navigate to the Help Menu → Send a Help Request → Select Licensing and Billing Questions, and our support team will assist you.
✅ New User Setup Requirements
Setting up a new user involves more than just entering a name—it's essential to configure all integrations, permissions, and preferences to ensure smooth onboarding.
🛠️ e-manage|ONE Administrator Setup
Add New User via the e-manage|ONE Administrator
Check Manager Settings from an existing user profile
Especially important for Sales roles: Make sure “Manage” and “Perform Actions For” are configured on applicable user records.
Assign Action Item User Groups
Navigate to:
Admin > Users > Action Item Groups
Grant Division Access (if applicable)
Complete Web Services Credentials
Required for vendor integrations. See Vendor Integration Guide.
🧾 Human Resources Configuration
Enter new employee in HR Employee Manager
Link Employee to User Dropdown in HR Manager
Link to Salesperson profile (if applicable)
Link to Installer profile (if applicable)
Assign a Commission Plan (if user is a Salesperson)
💻 Installation & Profile Setup
Install e-manage|ONE on user’s machine
Use the ZIP file provided by your Implementation Lead, or manually enter the profile key.
Install QuickBooks Integration Files (only for users pushing to QuickBooks)

Download Configura Spec
Enter Spec License Code
Download & configure Project Notify
Activate Catalogs via Spec Catalog Manager
Connect Spec with e-manage|ONE

Create Document Upload Shortcut
Adjust “Days in Advance” on the Actions To Perform grid (default = 7)
Assign Day Planner Items to applicable profile(s)
