Cancel This Project

When you lose an opportunity, it is imperative you Cancel the Project so your job forecasting stays as accurate as possible. To cancel from within the Project you can use the “Cancel This Project” button in the upper Actions toolbar of the Project.
Typically the Salespeople are held responsible for managing their Opportunities on a very regular basis and can be done easily from the Current Opportunities grid. You can right click on an Project and Cancel straight from this grid.
You do have to be granted the rights to Cancel a Project in your User Profile so if you are unable to Cancel a Project please see your Administrator. See the (2) User Rights associated with cancelling a Project below. Typically only high level users are granted the right “to cancel projects after booking” as you would definitely not want everyone to have this particular right.
