Completing an Installation

Typically your Scheduler will receive all paperwork back from the Install crew marked as complete so they can then go into the Implementation Calendar to mark them as Completed. This could also be a responsibility we have seen Project Manager's handle as well.

  1. Open your Implementation Calendar from the Main Tool Menu and select the entire day to quickly mark all necessary work orders as Complete. NOTE: You can also navigate to the day necessary by using the calendar on the right panel.

  2. Select the "Scheduled Items for Selected Day(s)" tab located on the lower area as shown below which will show you all items scheduled for the chosen date(s).

  3. You can now fill in the date completed under "Install Completed On" to mark the work order as complete and select your "Tab" key on your keyboard. This will now show in the "Installed Not Yet Invoiced" report located from the Today panel if the customer has not been invoiced yet. We recommend placing the "Install Completed On" column on the front end of the grid for quick access & ease of use.

NOTE: If your Implementation is not complete and is still on-going DO NOT fill in this date. If the paperwork came back marked as Incomplete, perhaps with a Punch List attached, you can quickly right click on the job in this same grid and "Mark Project as a Hot Job".

This information also carries through to the Order Entry module and fills in the "Imp Completed" date so this is an option to mark as completed in the Order Entry module as well.
