Clear Inventory Reservations
In some cases, Inventory items marked as reserved might not appear as available when generating a Customer Quote. This situation might require a manual clearance of the Inventory Reservation. There are a couple of scenarios where this action could become necessary: First, when there has been no recent activity on an existing reservation. Second, when another customer is ready to commit to an immediate purchase.
Follow these straightforward instructions to manually clear reservations:
Access the Inventory Menu: Locate the Inventory menu positioned on the Top Toolbar and opt for "Manage Inventory & Warehouses."
Choose the Appropriate Warehouse: Select the specific warehouse associated with the inventory item and proceed by clicking on "View Item Details."
View Reserved Items: Click on the "Reserved" section and activate the "Reload Grid" option to refresh the reservation information.
Clear Reservations: Identify the item(s) you intend to remove reservations from and mark them. Then, execute the "Clear Reservation" command to finalize the manual clearance.
