Inventory Definitions

General

  • Warehouse - Where the inventory is being held. You can have multiple warehouses  / location.

Project Actions

  • Reserve - Reserve an item(s) on a project. It can be reserved on many projects.

  • Allocate - The reserved item(s) is allocated to an order

  • Issue - The item(s) has been issue to the project from inventory / warehouse

Manage Inventory

  • Available - Amount of inventory that has not been reserved or Allocated

  • Reserved to Quotes - Qty of items reserved to quotes

  • Allocated to Orders - Qty of items reserved to orders

  • Qty on Order - Qty of items that have been ordered (PO's Printed)

  • Pending Order Qty - Qty of items that have been ordered (PO's Created but not printed)

  • Recommended - The recommended amount to order based on the Available and Maximum

  • Qty to order - The default value is the Recommended Qty but you can manually change the qty if you would like to order less or more.

  • Minimum - Min you want to keep on hand

  • Maximum - Max you want to keep on hand

Adjust Inventory

  • Bin Location - A location the inventory is in a warehouse. Could be a shelf, rack or bin on a shelf.

  • Stolen - Adjustment of inventory that has been stolen

  • Lost - Adjust of inventory that cannot be found

Inventory Items

  • Purchase UOM (Unit of Measure) - Purchase Unit of Measure (i.e. EA, Case, Yard, etc.)

  • UOM Price - Sell price

  • Is Serialized - If the part has a unique serial number. It will not let you inventory more than one.

Vendor Bills

  • Freight Costs - The cost of any freight that is in addition to the product costs. The price will average by one of the following

    • Weight

    • Price

    • Average
