🧩 Overview
Customizing Action Items in the Administrator application allows you to align task workflows with your company’s unique operational needs. This article outlines how to add, modify, or remove Action Items and adjust their related behaviors.
🔑 Accessing Action Items
Navigate to: Administrator → Action Items
Select an existing Action Item to modify or click New to create one.
🛠️ General Settings
Field | Description |

Action Item | Name of the Action Item |
In Use | Uncheck to deactivate the Action Item |
All Users Can Submit This Action Item | If unchecked, only Admins or specific roles can submit (typically checked on all Action Items) |
Alert Salesperson(s) When Completed | Alerts the Sales Rep when the Action Item is completed or rejected (usually checked on all Action Items) |
Opens This Window | Select the module/window that should open when the Action Item is launched |
On Check-Out Changes Project to this Status | Select a status to apply when the Action Item is opened or “checked out” |
📝 To modify Project Statuses:
Administrator → Corporate Division → Drop Down List Setup → Project Statuses
