Searching for Existing Records
Before entering any new company, you should search e-manage to make sure it doesn't exist. e-manage has a robust duplicate checking strategy, but there are always exceptions, such as users entering company names by Acronym. Therefore, e-manage gives you many ways to search including: location name, address, phone number, etc. See the Search e-manage section for further instruction on how to search for existing records.
Once you have completed your Search for existing records to ensure the record is not already in your database you can proceed to enter the New Location. Please see the next few sections on how to properly enter a New Location.
