Delete Custom/Alternative Reports
If you are experiencing issues with printing a particular report in e-manage|ONE, it may be due to a previously saved preference for a Custom or Alternative Report. When you select "Remember My Choice" in the Alternatives Available window, e-manage|ONE stores this preference for future use, potentially preventing access to the original or other custom reports.
Common Error Message
You might encounter the following error if there is a setup conflict:
“You must choose an alternative report or check the ‘Use Original’ checkbox to continue.”
This error typically indicates that e-manage|ONE is attempting to load a "Remembered Report." To resolve this, you can remove this stored preference and regain access to the Original or other Alternative Reports.
Navigate to Tools → Configure → User Settings.
Go to the Remembered Report Settings tab.
Highlight the report you want to remove from the list and click Delete Selected to remove the remembered preference.
Attempt to re-print the report. You should now be prompted to select from available reports or use the Original.
Best Practice Recomendation: We recommend not selecting "Remember My Choice" when using Alternative Reports. This ensures you always have the option to choose between multiple available reports, including the Original/Base Report, without being locked into a previous selection.
