Opportunity Search

You can type in the project number, project name, end user or sales person's name.

Order Search

You can type in the job number, project name, end user or sales person's name.

Service Ticket Search

You can type in the service ticket number, project name, end user or sales person's name.

Search e-manage

Search e-manage is a powerful search tool that not only allows you to directly search for any Top Level Record type with very little criteria, but also to "drill down" and find related records to one or more selected records. There are many shortcut keys to pulling up searches, please see Shortcut Keys. Search e-manage is not case sensitive, so you can just type the criteria you want without worrying about capitalization.  

Search e-manage is a progressive search so your "drill down" is based on what you see in the results grid (or if you select one or more records, then the selected item(s)).

Quick Search

Quick Search allows you to quickly search by a project number, job number or service ticket number. You can also set the window to open on the record

Recent

Recent Records is an automatically built list (categorized by top level record type) of the last 5 days of top level records you have opened along with documents. You do not need to do anything but open records to have this list build.

Favorites

Favorites are a way for each user to store and organize top level record types (companies, contacts, projects, service agreements, serviceable items, service tickets, help desk incidents and assets) that are used often so they do not have to search for them every time.  Once added to favorites, users can double click, right click or drag and drop the records in accordance with what function they want to perform. You can make folders within the favorites tree just like you would do with file folders on your hard drive and place favorites directly into these folder.

Temp Docs

Temp Docs is a place you can store, edit and share documents with other e-manage users before attaching them to a Top Level Record or to My Company Documents.

Alerts

Alerts are from the completion or rejection of Action Items or Notes submitted by another e-manage user or a customer from the Customer Web Portal.

Actions to Perform

Actions to perform is workflow in e-manage and is for people who are responsible for completing tasks in the office such as an Estimate is Required, Invoice For Final, Schedule for Installation or even Pay Commissions.

Open Actions

Open action Items are a list of Action Items that are opened for your projects as a sales person. You can easily view the status of each Action Item and estimated completion date. Think of these as Incomplete Action Items for someone else to create so this is just a list of FYI’s.

Leads

Leads are all the leads you are responsible for as a sales person.

Messages

Messages are all the phone messages you have to respond to. 

Notes/Tasks

The notes tab is where you can enter notes for yourself. You can put a completion date and show it on your calendar. When you put a completion date it is now a task. Once completed you can delete, complete and/or make inactive. You can also create sub-notes for a note. 

Snippets

Snippets is text with or without images that you use often. You can create a snippet and click on copy and paste it in e-manage or in another program. If you have a general description you use in a email, in a quote or on an invoice.
