Grid Options Setting

The Grid Options Setting allows you to print a grid, export a grid to excel, export a grid layout, and import a grid layout.

Print / Export Grid

To print a grid, navigate to the Settings COG (gear icon) and select Print Grid or Export to Microsoft Excel.

Export Layout to XML

This exports and saves a layout to send to another e-manageONE user (perhaps at another company) that does not have access to your e-manage database so they can see and use your grid layout. Click Export Layout to XML then browse to a place you can find the file and give it a name. You can then proceed to e-mail the file to another e-manageONE user so they can then Import & Save.

Import Layout from XML

This is used to import a grid layout from another e-manageONE user. When someone sends you a layout file, you click Import Layout from XML → browse for the file the other user sent you → double click on the file and it will load the layout. You can then proceed to Save the layout.
