Group Row Summaries
Group Row Summaries allow you to display summary data within grouped rows in the enhanced grids. The available summary options depend on the data type of the field you're working with.
Summary Options:
Count – Displays the number of items within the group
Max – Shows the highest value within the group
Min – Shows the lowest value within the group
Average – Calculates the average of the group (only available for numeric fields)
Sum – Adds the total of the group (only available for numeric fields)
How to Enable and Create a Group Row Summary
Below is a step-by-step example of how to add a Count summary to a grouped field:
Right-click on the header of the column you want to group by.
Select Show Group By Box from the menu.
Once the Group By box appears, drag the desired column header into it (or right-click again to group).
Right-click on the grouped field in the box and select Group Summary Editor.
In the editor window, choose your desired summary type—such as Count—and click OK.
To clean up the view and return the search bar to the top-left corner of the grid, right-click in the gray area again and select Hide Group By Box.
