CTRL + F (Find)
Like most windows applications, e-manage ONE has standard windows functionality, like CTRL + F for finding text.
Inside of a grid, you can use CTRL + F to find one or more rows in the grid, either one at a time or by "Freezing" matching rows.
To begin, a row in the grid must be highlighted. It does not matter which row is selected or where it is in the grid. Finding rows will look throughout the grid in an up and down direct until it gets to the row that is selected, looking for the text criteria you supply.
Once you have a row selected, press the CTRL + F keys together and you will see a toolbar appear at the bottom of the grid, the magnifying glass button will be clicked and your cursor will be placed in the Find Text Box.
Simply type in the text you want to find and press the ENTER key on your keyboard to find the first match. If the first match is not what you were looking for, then press ENTER again and repeat until you find the correct row.
The matching row will be highlighted and a small arrow will be in the row header of the row that e-manage found the match in.
Freezing all rows "fixes" the rows at the top of the grid. When rows are "fixed", scrolling through the grid only scrolls the rows that are not fixed. To freeze all matching rows, type your criteria and press the Freeze All Matching Rows button.
Example of hitting ENTER after typing in your criteria (you can enter any part of the text you want to find, less specific means more matches)
